That awful C to E change..........you may be thinking, with some justification, that I'm not enamoured with this tune. Tony Visconti may have handed it to Gus Dudgeon on artistic grounds (he believed it was cashing in on the Moon landings only), but I'm sticking with just artistic grounds. It's fucking shite!

The chorus is ok, but what's that dump-da-da-da-da dump dump? And what a millstone! The only saving-grace is this. Ian McCulloch took the C and the E and switched them round to try to make something work. He got: E minor to C & repeated it.We got 'The Killing Moon,' a classic. There must be a moral in there somewhere.
