Delphi, home of the Oracle, probably the most amazing place on this planet.
You think Greece can't throw anything else at you and then you get this place.

You can sit at the back end of a taverna overlooking the enormous drop down into the valley below, and you're so high up that, if you're lucky, you'll get fighter jets screaming past BELOW you as you look down. It's that high up. That takes some believing. Beer in hand and you can gaze down onto the pilots' cockpits as they speed past.

In the opposite direction, toward the west, you can just about see the sea......over to Patras !!
