When you have two Buick Mackanes and not enough Babe Shadow to go around, what do you do?

"You got two left feet," sings Marc, accompanied by an urgent beat and an understated guitar motif which occasionally melds into an even better riff. More random lyrics about a future machine until the track breaks out into a lengthy blistering guitar solo. Just when you wish it went on for another five minutes it all stops.

Tantalising stuff. Exciting. Brilliant.

And.....not even on the album.

It's only years later that we learn of tracks like this being consigned to the scrap heap. He certainly had two left feet when it came to song-selection. Sonically it's a bit like another unreleased gem 'Sinister Sister' or the vibrancy of 'Electric Boogie,' all retaining that classic 71 sound. It's a good place to start for someone willing to sail the uncharted waters of the unreleased Bolan canon.
