What’s it like in Chania?
There’s so much to see and many places to explore. Chania sprawls out form its centre. There are two ports, the new and the old, where there are many tavernas, shops and bars lurking in alleyways. It is often cheaper in the backstreets and more exciting. It is real mix of the old and new everywhere. The Archaeological Museum is now on the outskirts of town, but can easily be reached by taxi or on foot. There are other interesting places right on the waterfront, too.
