Mediterranee Beach

Down from the main road in Lassi is the large quite old now Hotel Mediterranee. It’s been housing tourists from Greece and beyond for decades. It’s a bit of a monstrosity and unusual for the Greek islands. However, it has an incredible beach which is easily accessible. There’s even a pleasant stroll to it from the connecting Paliostafida beach. The sand is golden and the sea turquoise and shallow, excellent for families with young children. There are small boats and kayaks for hire there too. Ignore the hotel and indulge yourself. It’s no surprise they built a hotel on this stretch of sand.

So there’s this monstrosity of a hotel there, perched right on top of this wonderful beach. It’s very popular.

As you can tell from the photos it’s a very pleasant stroll from one beach to the other and back.
