Parissi Winery Skiathos
High in the hills above Skiathos Town is the magnificently-located Parissi Winery. There are stunning views out toward Tsougria and beyond. A fabulous new building with outstanding facilities awaits the visitor. There are tables outside on the balconies where you may sit and be served with a seemingly-endless supply of gorgeous locally-produced white and red wines. Large glasses are provided as well as substantial nibbles and side dishes. You can pay for various types and amounts of tasters. With each bottle comes an explanation of the grape and flavours by one of the friendly and super-efficient servers. Obviously, if you like any (or all, as was the case - no pun intended - with us), you can buy some later.

Look at all those glasses just waiting to be filled. It’s going to be a long afternoon!
The tables are set out so you’re not on top of anyone else, thus spoiling their fun. The view is astonishing.
Can recommend the Thalassa Steria, Antithesi, the Epi Topou from the whites, and the Vapori (Steamboat) from the reds.
