The Swans Of Vromolimnos

Yep! You read that right. They don’t usually get swans at the beach here. They usually float around quite contentedly in Koukounaries beach. To catch them swimming along near the shore with the rest of their young family makes for massive entertainment for those on the beach or in the sea. Vromolimnos is normally a bit of an upmarket narrow but fairly long stretch of sand with some excellent tavernas. There are some excellent prices being charged too for the furniture!

You can see how nice the sand is here, while the water is great for swimming. It’s very popular with both locals and tourists. The food is of a very high standard in the tavernas.
