Crete

The biggest and, arguably, the best Greek island. But I'm not getting into that....especially not with a Greek. From tales of poisoned water to sick squids, this is the land of life-changing experience. Pop in - you may never pop back out. In the North-east there is tourism. In the South-west there is hardly anything, just mountains, eagles, boats and the Libyan Sea. And more mountains. There is Aghia Galini, Aghia Roumeli, Sfakia & the Samarian Gorge. Phaistos is awesome.
